Smooth skin starts with removing dead skin.Getting rid of this will give you beautiful skin. You may not realize that this is even an issue until you actually start to remove it. So to get started let’s look at how to scrub your skin. The simplest way is to make your own scrub made from sugar and oil. All you need is either, white or brown sugar and oil, such as olive, almond or coconut. You can make as much as you wants as long as there are two parts sugar to one part oil. You can store the rest for later use.
To use it you will want to start on wet skin.
Use a loofah or washcloth and rub into skin. Be sure to work in a circular motion. There are other variations that you can make depending on your skin condition. You may choose to add essential oils or spices to deal with a particular issue you have such as dry skin.
Another option for removing dead skin is dry brushing.
This will help to smooth your skin. With this you will still need as loofah or washcloth, preferably a loofah. You will work in a circular motion to remove the skin, but be sure to not rub too hard. You want to remove the dead skin without cause any damage to the skin under it.
Another simple step to great skin is keeping it hydrated.
This can be as easy as putting on moisturizing lotion day, night and after washing. Another option is coconut oil. You can make a lotion from it by taking a cup of coconut oil with a few capsules of Vitamin E and then mix with a hand mixer for 5-8 minutes. You can play around with this recipe to make it what you really like. Consider adding Shea butter or Cocoa butter, 2 tablespoons to every ¼ cup of Coconut oil, or essential oils. Beeswax is often used as well, but that will require using the stove to melt the wax and that wouldn’t be very easy.
Of course we can’t forget water.
Be sure that you are drinking enough water every day. If you don’t get enough your body will pull from your skin to compensate for the lack of water that your organs are getting. The organs need it first and that will wear on your skin. Also remember to not use water that is too hot for showering, or even washing your hands. This will dry out your skin and do damage. Remember that smooth skin will only happen if you are doing your part.
